Poland’s Inflation Eases to 3.9% in November 2024
New data from Eurostat shows that inflation in Poland continued to ease in November, dropping to 3.9%. This marks a decrease from 4.2% the previous month, suggesting a positive trend. However, Poland’s inflation rate remains higher than the average for the Eurozone, which stood at 2.2% in November.

This latest data provides a snapshot of the economic landscape across Europe. Among EU member states, there was considerable variation. Ireland experienced the lowest inflation rate at just 0.5%, while Romania faced the highest at 5.4%. This highlights the diverse economic conditions within the European Union.
Looking at the broader picture, inflation across the entire EU saw a slight uptick, rising to 2.5% in November from 2.3% in October. Similarly, the Eurozone also saw a small increase, with inflation climbing to 2.2% from 2% the previous month.
Eurostat’s report also shed light on the key factors contributing to inflation within the Eurozone. Services were identified as the primary driver, followed by food, alcohol, and tobacco. These sectors played a significant role in shaping the overall inflation rate.
